full view plz

wow, this pic really just came out of nowhere. I was just messing around with an old bryce model and i rendered it for the hell of it. I began tweaking it in photoshop and suddenly, this image just started appearing. there's some heavy modding of course, i decided to make the pic more cartoony than 3d and cropped some of the top and bottom because they didn't turn out properly at all. I re-inserted the cropped out sections but darkened them considerably so they wouldn't be too distracting.

the name may sound vaguely familiar, the bryce model used in this pic is actually the same one used in Nexus and Nexus Revisited, found here: [link] and here: [link] respectively. thought this may look NOTHING like the other two, the basic 3d structure is virtually identical.

added some heavy photoshop brushwork and filters to create the dark conflicted tone i hope i achieved. some aspects may seem almost fluid in appearance and lack any real edges, and its really a matter of taste if it appeals to u or not.

while i have ur attention, lol, i'd like to introduce a remarkable poet and a poem that i found very deep and thought provoking. Broken Heaven: [link] is a piece by the talented ~ RetardedBooster which actually inspired me to create the broken torn apart atmosphere in the background of the picture. (hope u don't mind man, i should have probably asked u before putting ur name here )

the file size isn't that bad considering that absolute maximum quality is double this. i didn't notice any loss in detail and the load time should be much faster with this quality setting.
