The model is based loosely on another render I did: Trinity [link] which was influenced by the Radeon AiW 9600 logo (very loosely based of course, lol). Machina is basically a complete reworking of the Trinity model with only the tentacle legs remaining intact. everything else was remodelled from scratch. I used HDRI lighting for the model and the render took ~12 hours. There's probably 10-15 additional renders that I've used to highlight various parts of the model. I've been working on this model on and off for the last few months but never put must time into it until recently, once finals ended. The design under the feet was made in photoshop, didn't take too long. Anyways, I hope you enjoy looking at it as much as I enjoyed making it. I havn't submitted anything really new in quite some time but hopefully this is a stepping stone to more submissions throughout the summer.
